Award-winning singer/songwriter Conni Laine

Conni Laine will move you groove you and soothe your soul. She is one of her many family members who play music, however the only one who has and continues to make it a lifelong passion as she continues to strive and grow with her music. Raised in St. Augustine was the setting stage for Conni’s romantic songwriting later in life.

In 2019 Conni won the South Florida Folk Songwriters Competition.  

Before moving to South Georgia Conni Laine resided in Cleveland Georgia. It was there she started a 10 year solo career performing music around Atlanta, North Georgia some Fla, and NC. Playing showcases, open mics you name it she played it. 

During a performance in Helen Georgia she met someone who led her to connect with Muscle Shoals producer Jimmy Johnson of which she recorded a 9 song CD of original works by Conni and a few top award-winning songwriters backed by some of Alabama’s famous Muscle Shoals Swamper’s.

While residing and performing in North Georgia Conni won 2 People Choice Awards.

She has performed for all types of venues from large to small audiences. The Save a Smile Foundation, CMT/MTV Show, The Blue Bird, Georgia Mountain Music Center to name a few.

Her songwriting led to winning a competition held on St. Simons Island and perform at the King and Prince with Nashville Songwriters and onward to a Writers in the Round with them in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Now co-owner of her own music venue called The Blue Door in Brunswick Georgia she gives other musicians as well as herself a platform to perform live music in an intimate setting designed for the art of performance.

In the winter of 2021 Conni was contacted by producer R. Lee Townsend, who heard her and immediately brought her into the Adobo Records family. Her upcoming releases and distribution are on the Adobo label.
